About

History

My wife, Betsy, and I began our business in 1987 with the help of Betsy’s parents, Frank and Wanda Lewark. We started out servicing mainly dealership cars and slowly grew our customer base. We are in a well hidden location on the back side of a warehouse on Draper Drive (in Fairfax City) which means most of our new customers over the years came from referrals.

Our philosophy at the time we began was if we treat our customers with the utmost respect and are honest them, they will know, they will appreciate it and they will return and refer others. This concept was new in 1987. Businesses were not giving fantastic customer service then. We were young and excited to build our business on giving dependable service you can count on and to stand behind our work. Our concept worked! We were successful and we still operate that way today. If you ever come to our shop and feel anything less, please let us know.
Meet the Business Owner: Tim B.

Tim knew he wanted to fix cars since he was very young. He always took things apart and put them back together as a child. Clocks, bikes and then cars. His first car was a Roadrunner and he had to replace the motor in it.

His first job was at a gas station in Annandale, pumping gas. He lived in Springfield. His parents went to church with the owners of Auto Buying Service in Fairfax. A few years later, with some experience under his belt, he went to the owners, Frank and Wanda Lewark, and asked for a job working on their dealership cars. He met his wife there and that’s were it all started…

Just a few minutes talking to Tim and you will feel comfortable with him as your mechanic / repair shop. He is sincere, caring and honest. He will always treat you and your vehicle as he would his own family.
