Been taking my cars there for 10 years. Always friendly honest service at a fair price. On my last visit I asked them to look over my 14 year old car and told them it was going on a long trip so they should check everything. This was an invitation to have them sell me some repair or service… but instead they changed the oil and windshield wipers, and pronounce that everything else looked good. And they didn’t even charge me for inspecting everything!

I have had three different vehicles repaired at ABS and the experiece was excellent every time. The price for a complete brake job on my wife’s Lexus was $300 lower than at the dealership. Of course there were no free ice cream treats…:-)

It is so great to have a mechanics shop that you can trust and know with out a shadow of a doubt that they are going to make sure your car is in good working condition with out coming up with all sorts of repairs that are unnecessary. Every time I go I feel valued and well taken care of!

My car was shaking pretty bad when I brought it in. A friend told me it was the tie rods and it would cost at least $1200. ABS confirmed but the diagnosis but it only cost me $1025. And I got it back the same day I brought it in. Amazing job.

A shop that makes you feel like family. I have been able to bring my car in on short notice and get the help I needed. I took a car in I was going to buy but was unsure about and they looked over the car and after telling how good a shape the car was in gave me enough piece of mind to purchase a car which is doing great. They go above and beyond and are there to help. They are great I recommend them to family and friends, they are honest, upfront and you can count on their quotes. Each time they have come in at or below the quote.

GREAT place. Not only do they do the work quickly and come in under bid, they’re nice folks and have the lowest pressure sales pitch I’ve ever had. Here it was (paraphrased, of course): “Here’s the problem (x). Here’s what we need to do (x). Here’s what it’ll cost (x). Just bring it in when you’re ready.” AND, when I brought it in for a diagnostic, Tim even called the dealership to see if the work was under warranty! In short, if I could give them more than 5 stars, I would.

I had transmission trouble while I was visiting Fairfax. I went to ABS based on the reviews at this site. They checked it out, showed me what to do so I could get it home safely, and would not take a dime for it. People in the Fairfax area are lucky to have an honest, competent mechanic like this available. Thanks!

my car wouldnt start, so i had it towed to ABS auto repair. being from out of town, i was worried they would try to rip me off. But not so, they called to say, “sir, your starter wire was loose, we tightened it, so you’re good to go, no charge” i was floored. i wanted to pay something but since it was a small, easy fix, they just did it. not the fanciest place in town, but really clean and really nice. here’s a hint, there are a lot of businesses in a small area, so you have to go around to the back of the businesses to find them. would definitely use them again! bob.
